Biography
Dr. Alsuwayeh is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pharmaceutics, College of pharmacy, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He obtained a Masters degree from the University of Mississippi (USA) in 1991 and obtained Ph.D. degree from the University of Florida (USA) in 1997. Dr. Alsuwayeh has 14 year experience in drug and manufacturer regulation and registration in Saudi Arabia and GCC countries, 7 years of which as chairman of the safety and efficacy technical registration committee in the Saudi Ministry of Health and recently the Saudi FDA. He also has extensive experience in conducting and evaluating bioequivalence studies. In addition, he contributed to writing and updating many guidelines for the Saudi FDA.
